In two minutes you'll learn how to make Demerara Syrup - for your cocktails, Belfast Coffee, and so much more.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Water - filtered if possible
  • 1 Cup Demerara Syrup

Instructions

Instructions - Get it Made
  1. Pour your water into a pot
  2. Pour your sugar into the same pot
  3. Place your pot on the stovetop
  4. Turn the heat to medium
  5. Whisk gently every minute, for 10 or so seconds
  6. Once all of the Demerara Sugar has dissolved turn off the heat and allow the pot to cool for an hour or so
  7. Once it's cooled pour the Demerara Syrup into a bottle

DISCLAIMER: I am a home cocktail maker with no real formal training in the American art of Bartending/Mixology. So the purists may reckon that I might be doing some things wrong in this cocktail recipe and if I am let me know and I'll up my game!
